Launch Checklist

You’ve created your academy and explored the Studio — now it’s time to open the doors. Launching well means your academy looks polished, has something to sell, can take payments, and lives at the right address. Work through this checklist and you’ll be ready to welcome learners with confidence.

1. Apply your branding

Your academy should feel like your brand, not Klimb’s. Before launch:

Visit your academy in an incognito window to see exactly what learners will see.

2. Publish at least one course

An empty academy can’t convert visitors. Make sure you have at least one complete, published course:

  • The course has a clear title, description, price, and slug.
  • Lessons are organized into modules in a logical order.
  • Video lessons have finished processing and play back correctly.
  • You’ve marked one or two lessons as free previews so visitors can sample your teaching before buying.

3. Connect Stripe

If you plan to charge for courses, you must connect Stripe before launch so payments work and Stripe payouts reach your bank account. Confirm:

  • Your Stripe account is connected and fully verified — see connecting Stripe.
  • Each paid course has a price set.
  • You’ve tested a purchase (Stripe offers test mode) to confirm the buy flow and that the entitlement is granted automatically.
  • Any launch coupons are created and ready to share.

Skip this only if every course is free.

4. Set up your domain

Decide where your academy lives:

Confirm your chosen address loads your academy over a secure (https) connection.

5. Final pre-flight check

Right before you announce:

  • Branding looks correct on desktop and mobile.
  • At least one course is published with working video and a free preview.
  • Stripe is connected and a test purchase succeeded.
  • Your domain resolves with a valid HTTPS certificate.
  • You’ve created a learner account yourself and walked the full buy-and-watch flow.

Go live

When every box is checked, you’re ready. Share your academy link, enroll your first learners, and watch the Analytics in the Studio come to life. Remember: you can refine branding, pricing, and content at any time, so don’t let small tweaks hold up your launch.
